Награда ХУГО и НЕБУЛА
Једна од најпознатијих и најстаријих награда у свету научне фантастике је награда ХУГО (енгл. Hugo Award / Science Fiction Achievement Award).
Названа је по легендарном Хјугу Гернсбаку (Hugo Gernsback), оснивачу и дугогодишњем уреднику часописа Amazing Stories. Додељује се од 1953. године на светском окупљању љубитеља научне-фантастике (Worldcon) које се одржава почетком септембра а обичај је да се награде проглашавају недељом увече. Категорије у којима се додељује награда обухватају роман, новелу, причу и кратку причу. Додатна је занимљивост да награда, иако облик ракете има сваке године, исто тако сваке године добија другачије постоље.
